hollyqueen and I have been working long and hard on fixing our finances and getting out of debt. We have too many credit cards and haven’t really been responsible with our money. Well last November that ended and together we’ve made changes to how we live, developed a plan of action and, most importantly, followed through with that plan. I’m excited that we’ve paid off our first card. Not only that but we kept on budget so that we have our fun money. It’s been a long time since the two of us were able to get away together and just relax.

The trick now is to figure out where we want to go. We were thinking of going to Langley because we’ve never been and their Chamber of Commerce says they have a lot of book stores. I’m not set on Langley though. What I would really like to find is a remote place with a few good shops to browse and food to eat. Any recommendations?
