Winter Beer Festival

The 3rd annual Winter Beer Festival presented by the Washington Beer Commission is Friday November 30th and Saturday December 1st. It sounds interesting and I haven't been to a beer festival in a long time.

I'm planning on going and would love to have some company. Anyone interested in joining me on Saturday for the event? If I'm lucky [info]shadowmatt, a good friend from Portland who I haven't seen in far too long will be up for the day.

I would be up for it...but the drive to the place is too long.

Word of advice, start with the lighter colored beers and work your way to the darks. The exception that proves the rule...IPA the hop level will stay with you for a while so put it nearer the end.

I have put in a request to upper management (my wife), and I await approval. The approval process can take 1 - 2 business days. Results vary wildly, but I am hopeful for a positive response.
