Now that I have some help getting the stuff out of storage that will save $90/month. The next step, which I just finished was to cancel my subscription to WoW.

This message is being sent to confirm that all credit card information has been removed from the World of Warcraft account bleber, effectively cancelling its recurring subscription as of October 7, 2008 12:48 AM UTC. The account will not bill or renew any further unless new payment information (credit card or game card) is manually entered in.

I will get out of this hole. I will!

I gots a desk!

Yesterday [info]hollyqueen rearranged our office and after moving a book case we were able to move my desk into the office. Since she has her own desk I have mine back and I don't have to sit on the couch downstairs to use my laptop. In celebration I played WoW for most of the day and finished the night helping [info]jw1776 level his gnome mage a bit.

[info]hollyqueen and I are going to be moving the rest of the bookcases this week so we can unpack the books and arrange them all. That will make a huge dent in the amount of boxes that are filling up the apartment. Having the bookcases upstairs will also allow us to host some social type events because we'll have room downstairs for a small dining table and more chairs.

I had a very relaxed holiday. After getting internet access at home I spent some time gorging myself on WoW. Mmmm.... XP.

Later I stayed past my bedtime to finish Black Order by James Rollins. Another excellent novel by Mr. Rollins. A fantastic plot involving Nazis, quantum physics and mysticism with just enough truth to keep things interesting. If you read the Da Vinci Code but had to choke through Dan Brown's writing you should give James Rollins a try, he is a much better author. I would suggest starting with Map of Bones or one of the earlier novels. Map of Bones is the start of the Sigma Force series which continues in Black Order. The earlier books all stand alone although Sandstorm introduces characters who continue in the Sigma Force series.

So how was your holiday?

P.S. I need to find an icon for talking about books...
